Brow / Forehead Lift
Soften glabellar and forehead lines and lift drooping brows — from a subtle neuromodulator lift to a minimally invasive endoscopic lift.
What it treats
Aging around the eyes and forehead produces stubborn lines between the brows, long horizontal forehead lines and drooping brows — creating a tired or even angry look. A brow and forehead lift, alone or combined with eyelid surgery, rejuvenates the upper face.
Options range from neuromodulators for a subtle lift, to small temple incisions that lift the brow tails, to a minimally invasive endoscopic lift of the entire forehead. The right approach is chosen together in consultation.
The endoscopic lift
The endoscopic brow lift is minimally invasive, performed under local anesthetic with sedation at our on-site facility in one to two hours. Small incisions hidden in the hair allow a camera and instruments to release the muscles that cause wrinkles and lift the brows — in women, creating a beautiful arch — while protecting the nerves and vessels. Sutures then hold the brows in their lifted position.
Recovery
A snug forehead dressing comes off after three days, and any scalp staples are removed around one week. Sleep elevated for two weeks to reduce swelling and bruising, which subsides in about two weeks. Makeup can camouflage the area and many patients return to work within one week.
